It looks calm now, but it was a madhouse in the morning. The President and Vice President attended a prayer service at the Cathedral, and I had to get A to school right next door. I had absentmindedly tried to drop him in the car, which was a mistake because there was no parking and of course you were not allowed to drive up to the school. So I had to return home, leave the car, and walk him there in the freezing cold. I was not happy!
